Barbara Ann Gervase, Esq.

Barbara is the senior partner of the Law Office of Gervase & Vallone, P.C. She has been practicing law since 1985. She has devoted her practice to the areas of matrimonial and family law and real estate. Barbara is a member of the Matrimonial Committee, Real Estate Committee and Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association. She is currently the president, and formerly the vice-president and past director of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association and is the chair person of the Golf Outing Committee which is dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research and awareness. She also sits on the Judiciary Committee of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association which determines whether or not candidates for judicial office are qualified.

Barbara is a trained mediator. She is also a member of the fee dispute panel which arbitrates fee disputes between attorneys and their clients in matrimonial proceedings.

Barbara is a past president of the Long Island chapter of the National Association of Professional Mortgage Women. She is a frequent lecturer at first time home buyer’s seminars. Barbara graduated from Southwestern University School of Law and Central Connecticut State University with honors.

David Vallone, Esq

David is a partner of the Law Office of Gervase & Vallone, P.C. He has been practicing law since 1991. His practice is devoted to the areas of matrimonial and family law and real estate.

He is a trained mediator and collaborative attorney.

He is a member of the matrimonial and real property law committees of the Nassau County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Professional Standards and Development Committee of the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals and a member of the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation.

He is a graduate of Stony Brook University, where he was a member of the national political science honor society, and Touro Law School, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board.

Susan G. Mintz, Esq.

Susan has been practicing law since 1991. She has devoted her career to the practice of matrimonial and family law. Susan joined the firm in 2005 and has brought with her a wealth of knowledge and litigation experience.

She is the chairperson of the Judiciary Committee of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association which determines whether or not candidates for judicial office are qualified. She is also a member of the NCWBA Golf Outing Committee which raises funds for breast cancer research and research. Susan graduated from Benjamin Cardoza School of Law and C.W. Post College with honors.
